Colour Inspiration: Tyred

If you're looking for something a bit different from the usual black and red teamwear, this colour combination is a great place to start. Bright red, metallic silver, fluro green and titanium grey work together to create a modern design that's bold enough to get noticed without feeling overdone.

Colour Inspiration: Tyred

Titanium grey makes an excellent base colour. It gives the garment a clean, technical look, hides the inevitable dirt from weekends at the circuit and lets the brighter colours do the talking. Metallic silver then adds a premium touch, whether it's used in stripes, subtle graphics or sponsor panels.

The real personality comes from the contrast between the bright red and the fluro green. Red has always been a popular motorsport colour, but adding small flashes of fluro green gives the design a fresh, modern feel. You don't need much either – a few highlights on the shoulders, sleeves or side panels are often enough to make the whole design stand out.

This palette works particularly well on team polos, mechanic shirts, hoodies and softshell jackets. It suits everything from GT and touring cars to karting and club racing, especially if you're after something that's a little more distinctive than the colours you see on every other team.

As with any good teamwear design, less is often more. Let the titanium grey dominate, use silver to add depth, and keep the red and fluro green for the details that deserve attention. The result is a clean, professional look that will still catch people's eye as you walk through the paddock.
