Colour Inspiration: Sunshine Fiesta

If you're looking for a colour scheme that's a bit different, this combination is well worth considering. Turquoise, metallic gold, bright red and deep navy work surprisingly well together, creating a design that's bright and eye-catching without looking too busy.

Teamwear colour scheme turquoise, gold, red, black

The deep navy acts as the base colour, giving the garment a smart, professional look. From there, the turquoise lifts the design, while the gold adds a premium feel that's perfect for finer details such as piping, logos or graphic elements.

The bright red is best used sparingly. A few flashes on the sleeves, shoulders or side panels are often enough to give the whole design a bit more energy and stop it feeling too safe.

This colour palette works particularly well for motocross, karting and modern race teams, but it's equally at home on circuit racing teamwear. It looks great across polos, hoodies, softshell jackets and mechanic shirts, especially when combined with bold geometric graphics.

One tip when using a palette like this is to let one colour dominate. In this case, deep navy should do most of the work, with turquoise used for the main graphics, gold kept for highlights and red added as the finishing touch. That way the design stays clean and balanced rather than becoming a collection of bright colours competing for attention.

If you want your teamwear to look modern and a little different from the usual black-and-red combinations seen around the paddock, this is a colour palette that's definitely worth adding to your shortlist.
